Kids Learn! is a parent-involvement resource designed to bridge the away-from-school gap in instruction with standards-based activities in reading, writing, and mathematics. The activities reinforce information learned during the just ended school year, while preparing students for the next grade level.

This series provides regular, purposeful practice of essential editing and test-taking skills. In addition to skills practice pages, each consumable student book contains over thirty mixed practice test simulations to help students prepare for standardized tests. The Teacher's Guide includes standards-based lessons, scoring rubrics, examples of corrected practice tests, and complete background information.

Each full color Writer's Notebook includes a section to support each step of the writing process-Prewriting, Drafting, Revising, Editing and Proofreading, and Publishing. An index indicates pages that support the traits of good writing.

This full-color resource has been created to offer and reinforce the basic building blocks of writing. The Student Books offer tips, tools, and worksheets to build and practice necessary skills. The Teacher’s Guide includes the answer key and directions for using the resource.
